I live in Montana, and therefore have many oportunities to snap some great pictures.

While in High School, my interest in photography began to grow. Along with this, I have an extensive passion for computers, both software and hardware, and am currently getting my major in Computer Science. I feel that these two things supplement each other very nicely.

I began my photography adventures with a Sony Cybershot. This small, pocket-sized camera was able to go with me wherever I went - into the city, or along the mountains. At the age of 18, I decided that if I was going to get very serious about this hobby, I needed a camera that would not only provide excellent picture quality, but also stay with me for many, many years. I decided on the Canon EOS 30D for its amazing features and picture results. Along with this I purchased a Canon EF-S 17-85mm lens, and a Canon EF 70-200L mm lens. This combination has proven itself to be very worthy of staying by my side on many walks and hikes.

When able, I love to travel and take pictures of different areas. One of my favorite places to take pictures is in the mountains. They are very beautiful, and provide many great photo opportunities
